Dual Enrollment Program

Start College Early!

Cape Cod Community College (4Cs) partners with local high schools across our region, including Cape Cod, the Islands, and southeastern Massachusetts, to offer you an exciting opportunity - it's called Dual Enrollment. This means you can take college classes at 4Cs while still in high school.

Imagine this: you keep up with your high school requirements and, at the same time, earn college credits. It's like getting a head start on your college education and building your future.

Dual Enrollment Application

Eligibility

In order to be eligible to participate in the Dual Enrollment program, you must meet these requirements:

Be a Massachusetts high school student, or homeschooled student, who is at least 16 years of age.
If you are under the age of 16, you need 4Cs permission and must complete an Under-Age Student Appeal for Enrollment form, which is available from a Dual Enrollment Advisor.

Please note: this process takes additional time and should be started as early as possible to ensure admittance to the Dual Enrollment program.

Attain a minimum 2.5 grade point average or above at your high school.
If you have a GPA less than 2.5 but greater than 2.0, you may be eligible for Dual Enrollment. A written recommendation from a school advisor or official and placement testing are required.

You are not guaranteed participation even if you meet general eligibility guidelines. Participation is at the discretion of 4Cs administration and subject to capacity constraints.
